Michael Hanrahan
Michael was born in Dublin in 1951 but now lives in Lahinch Co. Clare. He has been painting professionally since 2006, and was appointed art lecturer with Cunard International teaching watercolour painting in 2010.
Michael likes to paint the landscapes with all its shapes and colour in oils and acrylics. He has painted in countries all around the world including South America, Australia, South East Asia and Portugal – and of course Connemara in Ireland is one of his favourite locations.
He was officially accredited to be the artist for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth during her royal and historie visit to Ireland in 2011. Three of Michael’s paintings are in the Royal Collection in Buckingham Palace. His work can also be found in;
