Mulled Wine & Mice Pies
This year’s annual Christmas exhibition at The Greenlane Gallery Dingle is a collective exhibition of artworks by our resident artist. It will showcase an exciting mix of artworks by well established artists juxtaposed with those of new and emerging talents. Exhibited together the show will represent both our Irish painters and sculptors and artists overseas, illustrating their collective diversity and individualised styles
This exhibition will include West Kerry painters whom the gallery has championed for 20 years and more; Liam O’Neill, Michael Flaherty, Tomás Ó’Ciobháin and Patsy Farr. Resident artists Margo Banks, Niall Naessens and Joby Hickey will exhibit contemporary drawings, etchings and photographic realism paintings. At the same time The Greenlane will showcase new works by Vivienne St Clair, Tom Rickman, Áine Ní Chíobháin, Rebecca Mc Lynn and newcomer Hugh Thompson. There will be bronze and ceramic sculpture by Fidelma Massey, Bob Quinn, and Séamus Connelly and steel sculpture by Kevin John who joined the gallery this year. Of course, we shall include sculpture by Hans Blank and James Mac Carthy who both died earlier this year, we miss them both and send best wishes to their families this Christmas.
A show for art lovers and collectors alike this exhibition has something for all ages, minds and genre interests. With a wide variety of media and styles exploring a plethora of subject matter the show is designed to appeal to a broad range of tastes and price points. Our 2019 Christmas Show will run the full month of December, through to the 12th January. We invite visitors to the Other Voices festival to preview the artworks from Friday November 29th.
